We operate our scrap metal recycling business from Murarrie in Brisbane and can help businesses across Queensland.
What Scrap Metal Can Be Recycled?
Here at Elite Recyclers, we recycle both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Ferrous metals are those that contain iron and include items such as cast iron, stainless steel, and wrought iron. Non-ferrous metals are those that do not contain iron and include metals such as aluminium, copper, brass, and stainless steel. We deal primarily with industrial metal scraps such as construction and demolition waste.

Choosing A Waste Bin
There are many factors to consider when choosing a waste bin. The most important factor is the type and amount of waste you will be disposing of. For industrial metal recycling, you will likely need a hook bin. We have bin sizes ranging from 2m3 up to 27m3, with a maximum weight limit of 10 tonnes.
Roll on/roll off (RORO) bins are the largest type of waste bin, typically measuring 6 metres in length. These bins typically have a rear door that opens for easy loading,. ROROs can be leased on a short-term or long-term basis, depending on the needs of the business or individual.
Hook bins are larger and can handle heavy loads. They are also great for recycling as they can be easily emptied and moved around. If you have a smaller volume of waste, a skip bin may be more suitable.
Skip bins are smaller and easier to manoeuvre, so ideal for locations with limited access or driveway placement, but they may need to be emptied more often.
All industrial waste bins are made from industrial-grade steel, which can withstand the weight of heavy loads. The bins can be filled with a variety of materials, including scrap metal, car parts, and industrial equipment. Once the bin is full, notify our team and we’ll transport it to a recycling facility where the materials are sorted and recycled.
Ultimately, the right choice for you will depend on your specific needs. Speak to our team if you have any questions and we can point you towards the right solution.
Process For Removing Waste From Your Site
We also offer industrial metal recycling to help you responsibly dispose of materials. To get started, contact us with information about your project and discuss your needs.
We’ll help find the right bin and arrange to have it delivered to your site. When it comes time for collection, simply contact our team again and we will organise its transport to a waste management centre. The contents will be sorted, graded and weighed to determine their value. We’ll then pay you the scrap value of the metal waste.
We can do one-time pickups or regular collection, whatever suits your needs. This creates an easy all-inclusive solution for the removal and disposal of waste generated by your business or construction site.
