Elite Recyclers recently completed a plane demolition at Brisbane Domestic Airport.
Elite Recyclers mobilised a high reach demolition excavator with shear to the site, and with the help of GTS contracting, were able to cut up the aeroplane, load it into a 60m3 RORO bulk bin and remove it from the site using a quad-axle float. This project was completed in a single day.
10 tonnes of Aluminium waste was collected, responsibly recycled, and prevented from going to landfill. At all times, ER offered and adhered to strict SWMS and safety procedures required to work on the Brisbane Airport site.
